The Department of Public Health Sciences is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research, and service in the areas of Health Science, Public Health, Nutrition and Food Sciences, and Health Care Administration. Our graduates will find rewarding careers serving others in the community through education, public health, healthcare administration, and a number of other health related fields. Additionally, graduates of the department are well-prepared to enter graduate school and pursue master or doctoral programs in public health, healthcare administration, nutrition sciences, and the medical professions including medicine, dentistry, and physician assistant studies. Our academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level prepare students to be research based, practice ready, and Christ focused.
