Students must satisfy the Applied Music Proficiency requirements to enroll in upper-division applied study. They will typically complete this proficiency jury at the end of the fourth semester of applied study. Students will remain in lower-division applied study until successfully completing the proficiency jury.

Students must declare and complete all requirements for the Christian Studies Minor. course - History of Music and Worship in the Church is an approved variance for course - Church History (3 units) in the Christian Studies minor.
