Students must take twelve (12) units of ASL language courses or twelve (12) units of SPA language courses. Six units of 100-level coursework may be waived by exam, assessment, or Program Director approval. Six units of 200-level language coursework may be replaced with upper-division units for courses taught in the same language with Program Director approval.
*ASLG 1150, ASLG 1250, SPAN 1150, and SPAN 1250 Can be waived by exam or assessment or Program Director approval.
**ASLG 2150, ASLG 2250, SPAN 2130, SPAN 2230, and SPAN 2300 can be replaced with upper division units in the same language with Program Director approval for students proficient in the language.
Students cannot earn credit for both WLDV 3000 and WLDV 3000G.
Upper-division units of ASLG and/or SPAN coursework
Students must complete twelve (12) units, not completed in the core, from one of the following concentrations:
Upper-division units in ASL and/or WLD 300 or WLD 300G.
Earn at least 12 credits
Students must take at least three (3) units of CST or ICS.
